My Running Story:
I’ve been running since 2009 and have completed over 25 races. This year, I’m turning 35 and plan on finishing my FIRST half-marathon as my 35th race. This is my journey to #Raceto35.
Run Now, Pancakes Later:
What’s the best thing to have after a race or a long run? Pancakes of course! One of the BEST things about finishing a race for me is heading out to get breakfast and enjoying a fat stack of fluffy buttermilk pancakes covered in maple syrup and whipped butter. I think that’s my motivation to finish strong at the end of a race! One of my favorite places is a hole-in-the wall restaurant that serves the BEST pecan pancakes.
Running has been an important part of my life. It has taught me so many things and this blog is my way to chronicle this journey I am about to embark. Thanks for coming along for the ride!
