Running & Reflecting

Last year, I coped with the devastating news of the Boston Marathon with the only way I knew how. With a heavy heart, I laced up my shoes and went for a run that evening. With each step, I prayed for the victims, the runners and the people of Boston. After my run, a calm washed over me as I watched the sun disappear into the horizon.

This evening I laced up my shoes and ran again for Boston. I’m continuously amazed how strong the running community is and how we always come together to help one another. We might run solo but today we run together as one with Boston.

“You cannot destroy the will of a runner.”
